AVATIL will run its annual safety and security project during October and November for its Community Support Clients.
The project involves conducting a home safety/Security need assessment, Smoke detector installation/annual maintenance and updating the clients’ contact information at SIM data base (Service de sécurité Incendie de Montreal) in order to get adapted emergency services. AVATIL also maintains a repertoire of clients’ identification photo (for emergency cases) and issues wallet sized Identification cards for clients living in the community. This will facilitate access to information in emergency situations.
